President

Mark Foreman is a retired Art Specialist/Milwaukee Public Schools. He was in the navy in 1966 and served as a corpsman in Vietnam. He was wounded in 1968 and receives a 100% disability rating from the Veterans Administration. Mark holds a seat on the Council for Veterans Programs for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. At the same time, he serves as president of four boards in the city of Milwaukee (Granville Heritage Neighborhood Association , Veterans For Peace/ Milwaukee Chapter 102, Veterans For Peace/Homeless Veterans Initiative of Milwaukee, and Peace Education Project/Milwaukee). He is a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, and Veterans For Peace, as well as an active member of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, and Iraq Veterans Against the War. |

Samuel Leatherwood has been a resident of Granville/Heritage area for 13 years. He and his wife Alma married in October 1967. They have two children, son Anthony (Houston, TX) and daughter Sonja (Milwaukee, WI), and two grandchildren. Sam retired as a Deputy Inspector of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department in 2002 after 33 years. Sam enjoys traveling and fishing. |

Beth Eisendrath is an attorney who practices basic estate planning, guardianship and criminal defense. In her spare time, She facilitates a networking group of criminal lawyers and she is also a member of Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization. |

Leticia Smith is a part-time management consultant for nonprofit and public organizations. Her career has involved university teaching, state and local government management positions, and service on various nonprofit boards and public policy task forces and committees. A resident of the Granville/Heritage neighborhood for over 12 years, Leticia enjoys the performing and visual arts, watching wild backyard birds and working on technology projects. |

Helen Harris is a retired Milwaukee Public Schools principal. Currently, she works part time as a site coordinator for the SPARK Early Literacy Program. She is a member of St. Mark AME Church and mentors students participating in the St. Mark Music Scholarship Program. She also serves on the African American Education Committee. Helen enjoys spending much of her time with her six grandchildren |

Curtiss Harris is the Executive Director of the African American Chamber of Commerce. He has held previous positions such as Research Director of the Boston Store, Economic Development Officer with the Department of City Development, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Community Development Corporation and Chief of Staff to Acting Mayor Marvin Pratt. He also serves on the African American Education Committee chaired by State Representative Polly Williams. On occasion, Curt has acted as a talk show host on radio station WMCS-1290. |
