President William Nordstrom William Nordstrom

Bill Nordstrom has lived in the Heritage subdivision since 1999 with his wife Sally and their three daughters, Jennifer, Sarah and Anna. He owns William Nordstrom Jewelers in Menomonee Falls and a home party jewelry business called Bella Voi,selling sterling silver jewelry from designers all over the world.

Bill served as the president of the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce from 2007 to 2009. He is active with the Chamber and serves on the Marketing committee, Scholarship committee and is co-chair of a Menomonee Falls barbecue competition and festival called the Big Pig Gig.

Vice-PresidentSuzanne KirbySuzanne Kirby

Suzanne Kirby currently lives with her family on Sanctuary Drive since 2006. She is engaged to Ellis Turrentine and between them have three boys, Tre', Derek and Elliott. Suzanne has a passion to support her neighborhood and its residents. She helps to organize the Halloween night, Sanctuary Drive's Block Party and also worked closely with the Heritage Concerned Neighborhood Committee to ensure Heritage's residents had a voice in the recent group home application process.

Suzanne is a principal for the Milwaukee Public Schools at Wedgewood Park International School. She is also a volunteer for the International Baccalaureate Organization, a world wide education organization for schools providing a rigorous education experience from grades K-12.

Secretary Ruth MesnickRuth Messnick

Ruth Messnick has lived in the Heritage subdivision since 1999 with her husband Richard, who passed away in early 2012, and her daughter, Rebecca. She has worked for Milwaukee Public Schools since 1992 in various capacities from Speech Pathologist to Diagnostic Teacher, but has over 26 years of experience in the field of education. She has a B.S. in Deaf Education from UW-Milwaukee, an M.S. in Speech Pathology from Brooklyn College and a Certificate in Administration from Concordia University. Ruth has served on numerous committees during her time with MPS and enjoys membership in a number of professional organizations. She has volunteered her time providing speech therapy services to children at private schools that do not offer these services. Ruth has worked on previous GHNA block parties. She looks forward to using her varied skills to better serve GHNA and help maintain the high standards residents of this subdivision deserve.

Treasurer Huron Smith Huron Smith

Huron Smith has been a resident of the Granville / Heritage area for 13 years. He and his wife Leticia have a son, Eli (Minneapolis, MN). In his earlier work life, Huron taught economics and finance, was an entrepreneur (Madison Computer Store), a real estate broker, a software technical writer, and a business analyst for DecisionOne Corp. Huron enjoys the results of using technology tools, budget travel, and occasional volunteering.

Board Member Sallie Brown

Sallie Brown

Sallie Brown has over 30 years of experience as a successful principal and teacher. She has taught at the college level, successfully turned around a failing school, and developed and implemented the Wisconsin Conservatory for Lifelong Learning,the first and only K-12 school of MPS. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from UW-Madison and an M.S. in Educational Psychology, a Specialist Certificate in Administrative Leadership and a Master Administrator License from UW-Milwaukee. Sallie has served as the president of the Administrators Supervisors Council, and enjoys membership in a number of professional organizations. She looks forward to using her skills to serve the GHNA and better our community.

Board Member Glenn Underwood

Glenn Underwood

Glenn Underwood has lived in the neighborhood since October 2002. A machinist with Brady Corporation, he also owns a small business providing lawn care services. Active in various community activities, he is a board trustee at his church Maranatha King of Kings and Lord of Lords COGIC and coaches basketball at River Trail School.
